Migration

Coming from Jira, CSV, or another tool?

Shrevo includes an in-app import wizard so evaluation teams can load real work instead of empty boards. Below is what the importer supports today — no fictional “one-click full Jira clone” claims.

Supported sources

CSV

Live

Spreadsheet export of issues/tasks. Preview and validate before commit, including duplicate-title warnings.

Jira (CSV / XML)

Live / deepening

Import Jira-exported CSV or XML into a target project. Suitable for evaluation and bulk task move. Deeper Jira parity (full epic hierarchy, all custom fields, attachments, users, sprints as first-class objects) is an active depth track — not complete parity with every Jira site configuration.

Trello

Live

Board/card style exports into a Shrevo project.

Asana

Live

Task-oriented exports into a Shrevo project.

What you can bring over today

  • Task / issue titles and descriptions
  • Priority and status mapping where present in the file
  • Labels / tags when present
  • Ticket numbers when present
  • Preview step before commit (validate, see counts, spot duplicates)

What is not a full automatic migration yet

  • Perfect reconstruction of every Jira custom field, scheme, and workflow transition history
  • Guaranteed 1:1 import of every attachment, comment thread, and sprint definition for every source format (varies by exporter)
  • Linear-native importer (use CSV for now)
  • Background continuous two-way sync with Jira (not claimed)

If you need a controlled enterprise cutover, contact sales — design partners get hands-on help mapping real exports.

How to run an import

  1. Create or join a Shrevo workspace (register).
  2. Create a target project (or use a template).
  3. Open Settings → Import in the app.
  4. Choose source format, upload file, preview, then commit.

After import

Use boards, sprints, search, and docs on the imported work. Optional AI features (search, generation, advisors) can be enabled later — migration does not require AI.
